Sophia’s curiosity about yoga and meditation began in her late teens although a deep connection didn’t happen until a decade later when attending pregnancy yoga classes. After many years attending weekly yoga classes, Sophia completed BWY 500Hr Level 4 TT diploma in 2016 with Paul Fox & Carol Price and has been teaching regular community classes since then.
Sophia discovered Ayurveda whilst on a path to find a greater sense of balance in her mental and emotional health. She has always had a deep connection to nature and it was through this nature connection that she found Ayurveda. Sophia feels that both her yoga and nature practices make more sense and have a deeper value now with her understanding of Ayurveda.
During 2021 Sophia worked personally with Emma Newlyn, then training with her to complete Level 1 & 2 Yoga, Ayurveda & Holistic health.
Sophia says that her practices continue to evolve as she remains an eternal student and is excited to see where it continues to flow.
