Despite still being in lockdown we have been working hard to still bring you new and exciting things. Keep your eyes peeled on our new timetable full of things that are coming your way.
You may have noticed that Faye’s weekly classes have not been on recently. This is because Faye has made the decision to step down from a weekly teaching role. If you are missing your time with her (we know it is hard not to) then don’t worry because she is not gone. Instead she is now making time for our new yoga journeys, A Pilgrimage Home. A Pilgrimage Home is a series of yoga journeys coming your way with the intention of bringing you back home to your Self.
A Pilgrimage generally is a calling for us to leave our crazy modern lifestyles for a time. To venture to far flung destinations in order to escape. With the world as it currently stands and travel being limited, there has never been a better time to take ‘A Pilgrimage Home’ a journey to a remote part of the Self. The journeys are little passage ways for investigating the Self & opportunities to develop a greater understanding of our inner workings via the many tools of yoga. Join Faye from the comfort of your own home, and go on a journey of discovery.
The first journey, The Embodiment of Shiva & Shakti, is coming your way soon and is available to book now. This journey will give you a better understanding of how to balance your energies & the importance of sacred union, both within and without, of Shiva & Shakti.
On Mondays and Thursdays we have our Hatha Yoga Classes. Hatha yoga is the perfect way to begin and extend your yoga journey. Unite body and mind with a class suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced yogis including injured warriors looking to return to the mat.
At the end of the week you can join us for our Yin/Yang Balance Yoga Class on Sunday. This Yin/Yang Balance class is a great way to begin your Sunday. The yang section of this class is a flow inspired by the Anatomy Trains principles of affecting our neuro-myofascial connections with dynamic movement. The yin section is a fusion of yin yoga, 5 element theory and Buddhist principles. Expect to leave class feeling energised, refreshed and fully resourced. You’ll be ready for anything!
Immerse yourself in a full yoga experience with our yoga workshops. As government guidelines change we will keep you updated. The workshops are planned to be available online, but we may be able to invite you back into the studio.
The next yoga workshop coming your way is Faye’s Finding the Space Between Hope & Acceptance Workshop which is working to bring lightness into your life despite the hardships this year has brought. The 2 hour workshop uses practices to stimulate the energy centres of the body that cultivate an ability to find a sweet spot between Hope & Acceptance & enable the body to better move towards Raja Kapotasana (King Pigeon Pose). Book your place and join Faye on Friday 16th April.
The next workshop is the Bhagavad Gita workshop series with guest teacher & Same Star Graduate, Mousumi Pain. Join Mousumi for her 3 part workshop. The workshop is based on the 3 types of yoga in The Bhagavad Gita, Karma (action), Jnana (wisdom) and Bhakti (devotion). The course is ideal for anyone who is interested in yoga and its roots. Book your spot now and join Mousumi on Saturday 29th May, Saturday 26th June and Saturday 17th July.
