Discover Joy in Awareness of Self Workshop
Celebrate the month of “Shravana” or “Sawan”, by exploring the meaning of Shiva and Lingam in our being through yoga. “Shravana” month, this year in 2021, is between July 24 – August 22, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shivalinga is worshipped by the devotees throughout the month for luck, success and happiness.
Our body, evolution, nature and its transformation, consciousness and its awakening, are not influenced by external social factors but are manifested somewhere within us (Swami Muktibodhonananda).
Yoga, means union, and thus let us discover joy of being united with ourselves through this workshop.
In this workshop we will raise the curtain of our ignorance (avidya) of our inner pure Self, by grounding ourselves with the practice of yoga. When we start giving some acknowledgement to our inner Self, soon we will become aware of the touch of the Pure Consciousness/Atman/Supreme power that we believe in, residing within us and watching us, guiding us and making sure our actions and words are with the intention to bring about peace to all living beings as we are part of the One and that One resides in us all.
What to expect
Activating various vortex of energies in our being through guided practice of chanting mantras, pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (postures) in vinyasa flows and meditation.
On this auspicious month, through this this workshop, our intention is to find joy in exploring the purity within us that has always been there and will be there, timeless.

Essentials: Yoga mat
Optional: Yoga bricks/blocks, straps, blankets, cushions and bolsters.

AprilThe retreat for me it was a very illuminating, connecting and sacred space that was created! We had space to be alone and to be together, and that balance was so spot on and allowed us all to honour ourselves and one another is such a loving way! I learnt more about my own energetic boundaries and when I need to prioritise recharging to stay focused and present with others! It was a LOT in one week but that’s what made it so transformational! I also had some amazing mystical experiences in that week, the presence of my nan with me during meditations and an overwhelming heart opening and expansion in one of your classes! Lots of tingles and magic!
Claire BaxterI always reap the benefits from Sam's classes both in a spiritual and a physical sense. I'm utilising the option of buying the classes that I would have usually attended or participated online live. This currently fits in with me as I have a full house and no real structure. Buying the classes allows me to fit yoga in where it's possible...and peaceful within my home! Allowing me to feel the full benefit of my yoga time and space without kids or partners stomping though my Savasna! Saying that I'm really looking forward to attending the studio again, as although I am benefiting from these choices in how and when I practice, I do miss the physical connection from Sam and my fellow yogees.
