Return to Source Hatha Workshop
Step into a traditional hatha workshop with Samantha and journey back to the source of yoga.
Samantha will invoke all aspects of the traditional yoga she practiced during her extended stays in India to bring you an immersive experience during this three hour workshop.
You will be introduced to energy cleansing practices to prepare yourself as you step over the threshold into your morning’s practice. Samantha will share with you specific mudras (hand gestures) and bandhas (energy locks) that will bring a multi-layered intentionality to the different stages of the workshop.
You will practise asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditations carefully crafted to bring you closer to samadhi (enlightened bliss).
Learn how to balance your energy, maintain steady effort without attachment to a goal, observe yourself and feel truly alive in every cell.
After practice we will enjoy a mindfully prepared lunch together at the gorgeous Fields cafe next door.
All levels of experience & traditions welcome.
Step away from your every day and immerse yourself in the practices of the yoga of activity, Hatha yoga.
Focussing on the journey rather than the end goal, we will travel together through kriya, asana, pranayama, bandha & dhyana allowing each to penetrate our physical and energetic bodies to cleanse every layer of our beings and reach samadhi, ultimate bliss.

What our students say
Brenda CoxI loved the class recording of Sam's class last week. It was easy to follow and the technical side of using it was easy too. I would recommend it to anyone missing your lovely classes.
Claire BaxterI just wanted to say thank you for the Water element Hatha yoga. As always, it was a super lesson and very reflective of my needs at the moment.
Jo MurphyI enjoyed the yoga practice very much, a friend had recommended Same Star and I have been following your wonderful advent calendar so wanted to come to a class. Unfortunately, timings, travel distance and cost mean that I won't be a regular attendee, but it was a joy to connect with you, Samantha's knowledge is inspiring.
Anonymous 9I love the space that you have created. It's brilliant to have access to the bolsters, blankets and blocks. The space always feels clean and inviting. Please keep the space minimalist. It's a nice haven away from the frantic outside world! All of the teachers create a really supportive environment where you feel confident to try new things or rest if your practise isn't quite at that level yet. I like to feel challenged physically and see progression week-to-week. I always enjoy the relaxation at the end of the class.
Anonymous 8I love that it is a safe, supportive environment with excellent teaching. The space is always set out beautifully and it feels very relaxing. I like the fact there are plenty of props available to use to help with poses. The classes are extremely well planned and it is clear that much thought goes into each session. I love that individual growth is encouraged and different abilities are supported.
