Teachers Intensive Retreat & Primer Weekend with Claire Missingham
Please join us for 25 contact hours of deep practice, discussion, and intellectual curiosity as Claire shares some of the skills and techniques she uses to make a yoga classroom experience creative, heart-centered, organised, and safe.
Each morning you will practice yoga including intention setting, mantras/chants/shlokas, mudras, thematic narrative creation, functional anatomy, esoteric anatomy and kriya.
Each day you will explore the 7-layers that make up a multi-dimensional yoga practice either for personal sadhana or teaching to instil a sense of personal freedom, courage, and independence within yoga.
You will also spend a significant amount of time looking at the evolution of ethical, trauma sensitive, safe, effective and skilled yoga hands-on assists.

Claire says
In the past 13 years of leading the UK’s most intense and rigorous teacher training (good for some, maybe not for everyone!) I have created a 7-layer system for effective yoga class creation.
This intensive is to gain these skills and ideas, to go into more detail without committing to a full YTT. For those who have already completed a YTT, this is an opportunity to target your real niche teaching area and get some inspirational and creative ideas.

You asked for feedback on my experience at Same Star Yoga, so here goes: The location - Really convenient! I'm delighted the studio is so close to my home. Design and interior 'decor' - A beautiful, calm and relaxing space. Perfect for practising Yoga. Teachers - All the classes I've attended have been expertly led. The teachers are very attentive to students' needs & requirements. Prices - Very reasonable. I like the idea of the multi-class passes, which are very handy for those of us who want to try out different sessions.

I enjoy my Hatha Yoga classes very much and find that each time I come I can do a little more. I find it very relaxing and Samantha explains and demonstrates moves very well.
