Yin Yang Balance Yoga
Our online booking system closes an hour before class – we welcome walk-ins at the studio and can take cash/card payments on site.

This Yin Yang Balance yoga class is a great way to begin your day.
The yang section of this class is a flow inspired by the Anatomy Trains in Motion principles. This is a system that looks at the body as a whole. It seeks to enliven the fascia in our bodies with dynamic movement.
The yin section is a fusion of yin yoga, 5 element theory and Buddhist principles.
Expect to leave class feeling energised, refreshed and fully resourced. You’ll be ready for anything!
Samantha says
Our fascia (or myofascia) is a connective tissue matrix that runs throughout our bodies containing our muscles, internal organs and bones. Its shape is formed from many factors including our everyday postural habits.
Over time this matrix will limit our maximum range of movement and potentially restrict our freedom to move.
Join me for this enlivening and enriching morning practice as we feel into and release our stuck fascial patterns.
What to expect
Samantha will begin each class by introducing the intention and sharing information to illuminate the practices.
The first 35 minutes of class you will be invited to move through a simple dynamic sequence of linked postures.
The second 35 minutes you will be guided to take static supported poses accessing the same myofascial areas.
For the final 15 minutes of the class you will be invited to relax as Samantha guides you through a meditation.
What to bring to class
Essentials: Yoga mat, Yoga bricks/blocks, Yoga bolster, blankets
Optional: Strap, cushion
