Finding Stability and Contentment With Ganesha Workshop
With commencement of Ganesha Chaturthi festival this September, let us celebrate the birth of Ganesha within us through yoga. Ganesha being the symbol of remover of obstructions bringing stability and contentment, is worshiped during the month of September by many devotees to get his blessing for a healthy and happy life.
Let us join in the festivities by grounding ourselves to get the strength to deal with obstructions with resilience to bring about stability and contentment in our lives.
“In this workshop we will work towards opening the path of stability and contentment. Within each one of us Ganesha resides. We just need to know how to activate and access that energy. As we practice to bring about stability in our being we can access our intuition, thus carving out a path towards self-discovery.”
What to expect
Activatng the vortex of energy at the root of our body through guided practice of chanting, mantras, pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (postures) in vinyasa flows and meditation.

What our students say
Janet OliverYou asked for feedback on my experience at Same Star Yoga, so here goes: The location - Really convenient! I'm delighted the studio is so close to my home. Design and interior 'decor' - A beautiful, calm and relaxing space. Perfect for practising Yoga. Teachers - All the classes I've attended have been expertly led. The teachers are very attentive to students' needs & requirements. Prices - Very reasonable. I like the idea of the multi-class passes, which are very handy for those of us who want to try out different sessions.
Pernilla VizardI just booked my first class with you, so looking forward to seeing your studio! I’ve been practising with Gaye Gorman since I moved here five years ago, but since lockdown it’s been all on line so cherishing the chance to go to a live yoga class again. Your website is beautiful and so many exciting classes on offer. I wish you every good fortune in this new venture.
Gaye GormanThank you so much for all your help yesterday to make it a successful day. Everyone was so appreciative that there is such a lovely space to practice their yoga. They all felt so comfortable and at ease and definitely connected to the vibe you have created in the building.
Rachel MannI can't recommend this studio and the teachers Faye and Samantha at Same Star yoga enough. I am now doing my Yoga Teacher Training with them which I feel shows how highly I regard their level of tuition.
Ollie & HollyJust a quick email to let you know that my experience with you both at Same Star Yoga has been extremely eye opening for me. I’ve always enjoyed yoga in the setting of my own home as didn’t think personally I would be able to relax and enjoy it as much but I was very wrong. On both occasions the venue was so chilled and inviting and the level of instruction and warmth from you both was absolutely critical to enjoying such a lovely experience. I shall definitely be coming again and thank you both very much. Couldn’t recommend it enough to enjoy on your own or like I did as a couple.
