Yin/Yang Balance Yoga with Samantha
This Yin/Yang Balance class is a great way to begin your Sunday. The yang section of this class is a flow inspired by the Anatomy Trains principles of affecting our neuro-myofascial connections with dynamic movement. The yin section is a fusion of yin yoga, 5 element theory and Buddhist principles.
Expect to leave class feeling energised, refreshed and fully resourced. You’ll be ready for anything!
Anyone who wants a recording of the class, if you cannot make the livestream, should book an online space and tick the recording box on the form. You will receive a link to the recording valid for 5 days 24 hours after the class.
Our myofascial patterning is formed from our everyday postural habits and creates a framework that informs our maximum range of movement and can potentially restricts our freedom.
Join me for this enlivening and enriching Sunday morning practice as we feel into and release our stuck myofascial patterns.
What to expect
Samantha will begin each class by introducing the intention and sharing information to illuminate the practices.
The first 35 minutes of class you will be invited to move through a simple dynamic sequence of linked postures to feel into a specific myofascial area of your body.
The second 35 minutes you will be guided to take static supported poses accessing the same myofascial areas.
For the final 15 minutes of the class you will be invited to relax as Samantha guides you through a meditation.

What our students say
GeorgiaLast Monday was my first yoga class and being online was different but your set up was really clear and easy to see the class.I haven’t been doing yoga for long and I only have experience in solo home practice, so it nice to get feedback on how I was doing with the poses and to enjoy being in a group.I have a goal to become a lot more flexible and to be more relaxed as I hold a lot of tension. I really enjoyed the class and will be rebooking.
Brenda CoxI loved the class recording of Sam's class last week. It was easy to follow and the technical side of using it was easy too. I would recommend it to anyone missing your lovely classes.
Claire BaxterI always reap the benefits from Sam's classes both in a spiritual and a physical sense. I'm utilising the option of buying the classes that I would have usually attended or participated online live. This currently fits in with me as I have a full house and no real structure. Buying the classes allows me to fit yoga in where it's possible...and peaceful within my home! Allowing me to feel the full benefit of my yoga time and space without kids or partners stomping though my Savasna! Saying that I'm really looking forward to attending the studio again, as although I am benefiting from these choices in how and when I practice, I do miss the physical connection from Sam and my fellow yogees.
Claire BaxterI just wanted to say thank you for the Water element Hatha yoga. As always, it was a super lesson and very reflective of my needs at the moment.
Carole ManderThank you for being there throughout these difficult times. Having the opportunity to continue with yoga classes online has helped to keep me focused and calm.
