Awakened Rest Yoga Nidra Teacher Training Foundation Level
Do you yearn to dive deep into your true nature? Do you want to explore the power of rest? Are you curious to learn about the ancient practice of yoga nidra, and share it in a modern and accessible way?
Then this Yoga Nidra Teacher training is for you.
The Awakened Rest Foundation Level offers an immersive understanding of yoga nidra and is suitable to anyone wishing to start teaching it, or to deepen their personal practice. It offers the opportunity to weave in your own unique qualities as a teacher and truly share and experience yoga nidra from the heart.
At the end of the course, participants will have a good understanding of what yoga nidra is, how it can be used in different settings and they’ll also be able to confidently deliver yoga nidra from the heart, whether to a class, one-to-one, or for their own practice.
No previous experience of yoga nidra or teaching is required, but come ready to learn and be open to how yoga nidra changes life for the better.
Sarah Lloyd-Morrison says
This is all about giving you the confidence to deliver yoga nidra from the heart and to share the power of rest.
You may have already delivered yoga nidra using a script and wish to be able to deliver it to a class of students without a script; or you may be wondering about how to tailor your delivery for different populations.
Perhaps you wish to incorporate other skills you have, like singing, mantra or poetry so that you can truly make your yoga nidra teaching an extension of your own unique dharma.
I am passionate about sharing the power of Awakened Rest through yoga nidra. Put very simply, the practice has changed my experience with life and I want to share it with you on this immersive foundation training.

What our students say
Amanda RoperThank you for the class on Saturday. I haven't been to yoga for so long and I really enjoyed it. You made it really interesting too - beyond the poses.
Anonymous 6Lovely dedicated well equipped calm ... bliss. I had never experienced restorative yoga before: incredible!
Anonymous 3It is a sacred space for healing and learning, reflecting and to focus. Classes in good setting and atmosphere is achieved. Yogis have appreciation for all things that make us unique or how to correct postures, with what seems to be a naturally in-tune way of instructing us on a safe and individual level. Having trust that they know what they're really doing is a basis to build my confidence.
Anonymous 2I love the location and the feel. The teachers are so knowledgeable and they all have very different styles. I love the classes at Same Star and have recommended you to everyone I know.
Gina GardinerThoroughly professional but incredibly caring! I can thoroughly recommend Same Star Yoga and meditation!!! Give yourself a great gift of self care and sign up.
